With the school year winding down and summer on the way, many people are looking ahead to their vacation plans or where the next trip may lead them.
While summer is a great time of year and a little time away is good for everyone, don’t put your off-season training on the back burner. After school seasons are over and spring leagues are wrapping up, the slower summer months are a great time for not only recovery but training and preparation for young athletes.
Taking the time to train your body will pay dividends in the long run when it comes to on-field performance.
Improvements in mobility, stability, strength, and power are all products of a solid strength and conditioning program. These qualities will contribute to all aspects of your game and make you a better player from the plate to the field.
Take the time during the summer to invest in yourself and your game by training in a well-rounded strength and conditioning program!
