About Our Training Center
The Tuckahoe Sports Training Center started as a dream in 2002 to create an indoor facility where children could be introduced to the great American pastimes of baseball and softball, and train year-round in all aspects of the game.
The journey from dream to reality took seven years of planning, building, hard work, and determination. Now open for 10 years, we continue to look towards the future. Visit the expansive 38,482 square foot Training Center, dedicated to the development of skills, fitness, confidence, and growth that comes from enjoying the sports of baseball and softball.
Our training facility contains a regulation infield, outfield space, seven batting cages, two baseball bullpens, two softball bullpens, a weight room, speed and agility area, classroom seating, and party room.

uHIT Pitch Recognition System
Pitch recognition system, uHIT baseball, is used by major college programs and MLB teams to help increase production at the plate. The sophisticated cutting edge software and hardware assesses and improves decison-related cognition for athletes. Strike recognition will measure your reaction time with millisecond precision on every pitch you call a strike.
Pitch recognition will do the same for pitches you take. Both games will tell you how fast you are chasing pitches or how slow you are when you’re late. Both games will tell you how fast you are chasing pitches or how slow you are when you’re late. Your recognition will be measured by your accuracy.
Diamond Kinetics has announced the release of PitchTracker, a first-of-its-kind revolutionary smart baseball that will change the way players and coaches train, analyze and understand the pitching motion. As a regulation spec, full-grain leather baseball PitchTracker mimics the exact look and feel of a normal baseball, giving it a familiarity that pitchers will understand and appreciate.
Paired to the PitchTracker app via Bluetooth, the smart ball currently measures six pitching metrics – velocity, spin rate, extension, time-to-the-plate, timing delivery and reach back to release. Moreover, PitchTracker allows for video capture and data sync through the mobile app to see exactly how body movement affects key pitch metrics.
Pitch charting features and custom bullpens allow players and coaches to see and track the consistency of hitting locations with different pitches through a simple, easy-to-use interface that eliminates the need for paper.
Marucci’s Smart Bat incorporates Diamond Kinetics’ SwingTracker software platform into a single, all-encompassing piece of ‘smart’ equipment. Equipped with the DK sensor, Smart Bat captures over 10,000 data points per second while bringing data and motion analytics to players of all ages and skill levels.
SwingTracker provides players and coaches instant insight and actionable feedback across 11 different swing metrics, within the four major components of the swing – Speed, Power, Quickness, and Control.
