Complete Pitcher Program (CPP) was added to the slate of TSI programs in January 2020 under the direction of TSI Pitching Coordinator, Josh Youngman and New York Yankees Pitcher, Aaron McGarity. With the conclusion of the 3rd overall session, we are excited to share outcomes.
To date, we have had 97 players participate. Data has been gathered throughout the first 3 sessions and it has shown a tremendous amount of growth not just in velocity, but also in overall strength and performance on the field from both pitchers and positional players.  Players that have invested time in the program have continued to show steady growth throughout each session.
Attached is an anonymous TSI CPP graph bar graph that shows a sample of the development of our athletes that have participated in all 3 sessions. This bar graph depicts three key metrics:
- Average velocity of the athlete in our program at their current age
- Where each individual athlete started at the beginning of the program
- Where each individual athlete is currently
On average, athletes have consistently seen exponential growth in overall arm strength and conditioning posting an increase from 1 -7 mph.
Powered by Driveline, the Complete Pitcher Program has continued to evolve and has had great support from those that participate. With the addition of Rapsodo 2.0, we have been able to expand our program not just focusing on velocity, but really developing a strong pitch design for each player.
For pitchers, these slight adjustments improve each playerâs arsenal.
For positional players increasing strength and velocity impacts efficiency and accuracy.
Fall 2021 and Winter 2021-22 Complete Pitcher Program Offerings
The Fall 2021 eight week in-season maintenance program for ages 12 – 17 will will run from Tuesday, Sept 7 â October 28, 2021.  TSI has recently invested in a Rapsodo Insight edgertronic camera that will allow instructors to effectively detect how every throw is being released.
This technology will enable instructors to provide athletes with adjustments that need to be made. This investment in technology will continue to provide another aspect to the development of our players in advancing their game!
