With 14 camp offerings and Ā 305 participants, TSI had a truly successful camp season!
Our camp success is driven by our partnership with Spider Baseball Camps which features the U. of Richmond Baseball coaching staff, our dedicated TSI staff, and the 7:1 ration for player to instructor ratio. With programming focused on specific age and skills, we had an offering for any player looking to improve their skill level.
TSI hitting coach Collin Radack leads up the Spider Camp series and ensures that the camps are truly a great experience for all who attend!
“We had an awesome summer hosting our Spider Baseball Youth Camps at Tuckahoe Sports, Inc. Ā Itās clear that Richmond youth baseball is on the rise and we are excited to be able to provide quality coaching and instruction to local 7-13 year olds!Ā
Ā I believe we have found an ideal balance of high quality baseball instruction and fun that keep players engaged, improve their skills and encourage them to continue with their baseball journeys. Ā Both of our summer events sold out quickly because we intentionally keep the groups smaller to enhance the learning experience for the players.
Ā We have added some new camps/ clinics this fall and winter, mostly around school holidays. Ā If your ballplayer hasn’t had the chance to experience a Ā TSI camp yet, we hope you’ll come check us out!” ~Collin Radack
TSI softball instructors Coach Shireese Borden and Coach Rasheeda Crews also had a successful group of camps including the popular Rookie series as week as skill specific offerings for girls ages 9-14.
Many thanks to all who participated, we hope that you take your new found skills into the Fall Season.
Be sure to check out our Fall and Winter class and camp offerings which start in September and run thru the holiday season:
