Winter Madness Softball Tournaments

Winter Madness Softball Tournaments are here! Games are played from November through March. Because tournaments are held at the Tuckahoe Sports (TSI) Training Center, all games are played indoors! In addition, each tournament has a 3 or 4 team format with a 2 game guarantee (GG).

Description: Tiny Titans is an interactive 11-week program for children ages 3-5 years old. The curriculum focus on fun games and activities that teach kids the skills necessary for future participation in all sports. Each child will have fun while learning important motor coordination skills and balance needed for a good foundation.

Overview
Former MLB Player and MLB Catching Coach Danny Sheaffer and his son David from the Seattle Mariners organization will run each player through Firm Foundations Keys for Catching.

Home Run Derby Camp
The TSI Baseball Staff will be hosting a Hitting Specific Camp January 27, 2019 that will include a camp favorite, Home Run Derby. Players will receive instruction on how to consistently drive the baseball and increase hitting power. Players will then compete in our Home Run Derby for prizes and award!!!

Baseball has become a game that features very competitive athletes at all age levels. Do you want to improve your baseball skills and gain the edge over the competition? If you do, additional baseball or performance training outside your 1-2 team practices per week could be the solution. Many players who strive to play baseball at a highly competitive level, play and/or train 10-11 months out of the year.
Unfortunately, team practices don’t always offer one-on-one or specialized training one would need to significantly improve both physically and mentally. Team practices are very beneficial for athletes and the team to improve, but oftentimes, players are unable to work on individual philosophy & mechanics due to time constraints.
The solution: Baseball Development Classes. The benefit of participating in development classes is that it allows players and instructors to work on a more personal level to improve individual skills. Additionally, these classes allow players to maximize repetitions during drills that players may not receive during team practices.
Winter Softball Classes
Starting this winter we have two softball classes, specifically geared for the younger players to continue their love for the game. Rookie Pitching Academy with Tabby Dabney and Lil’ Lady Titans with Lisa Smith are both great ways to build on the enthusiasm that has developed so far this fall and carry them into 2020!
Remember that we also offer Becoming a Power Hitter with Tabby Dabney and DI Softball Catching with Peyton Fulton. These classes are appropriate for all ages of softball players. Come ready to learn and improve your skills with two great coaches!
