The 2025 spring season was kicked off with a series of free baseball and softball clinics geared at getting Tuckahoe Little League (TLL) members ready for competion. Hosted by TSI and our team of coaches, players were introduced to the basics of base running, hitting, fielding and the mental aspects that they need to bring to both practices and games. The first clinic held on March 10th, had over 100 registrants from baseball and softball while March 17th added another big group and many returners excited about the opportunity.
TSI is the Official Training & Travel Partner of Tuckahoe Little League.
TSI also provides a series of free coaches clinics with baseball professionals led by Coach Chris Mcknight. The focus for these clinics include creating effective practice plans, drills for each age level as well as keeping the focus on development rather than just winning – building a team through positive reinforcement and communication using some of the best in technology and mental awareness to how to keep players positive and understanding the need for practice. Memberships allow players to book time at the facility to work independently on what they learn in practice.
The TLL/TSI relationship has been years in the making with both organizations supporting each other and benefitting from the natural migration that players looking to improve their game from the recreational level to travel. Additionally, for those players focused only on recreational ball, TSI is devoted to introducing and growing the sport with a commitment to providing basic skill development to make the game safe and fun for all levels.
