New Rapsodo Pitching and Hitting Sessions Now Available

New Rapsodo Programs at Tuckahoe Sports!!

We are excited to announce the expanded use of Rapsodo technology at Tuckahoe Sports. Rapsodo utilizes camera and radar technology to track the flight of a ball coming off a bat, or out of a pitcher’s hand. 30 MLB teams use this exact technology, over 1,000 colleges, and all 12 most recent D1 champions.

It will track all of the key metrics related to a hit or pitch, and collect data vital to assessing the quality of the action. This data is aggregated into an app that is accessible to the player, and our Technology Coordinator, AJ Wahl.

All members of our Orioles teams have completed or will soon complete an initial Rapsodo hitting evaluation. These evaluations will occur twice throughout the year to track their progress in key areas of the swing.

All of the data will be recorded and given to their coaches for their player evaluations.

The Complete Pitcher Program will also utilize Rapsodo and at the completion of the program, each participant will receive a detailed report outlining metrics that the player has improved on and frame-by-frame video.
