Live At-Bats Sessions (HS/College/Pro Offering)
Winter 2022 with Brian Wirth
Live At-Bats Sessions Description:
This program operates with an emphasis on pitcherās arm health while creating an ultra-competitive environment. As the College baseball season nears and professional spring training begins shortly thereafter, it is imperative for hitters to see live pitching so that they can be prepared to perform at a high level when they return to campus following winter break.
In comparison, it is just as important for pitchers to maintain a steady and well-managed workload during colder months prior to the season. Our indoor field turf area with pitching mound, rapsodo and video feed will provide an exceptional and unique way to simulate game-like feel.
The format will consist of a 1-hour time slot, two pitchers will throw 3 innings each (roughly 15 pitches per inning, 45-50 pitch max). There will be three hitters that rotate in order and receive around 6-8 At-Bats, comparable to a doubleheader.
At-Bats are considered: BBās, Kās, Hits, and BIP (if a player is HBP, they have the option to start AB over). Included in the session will be game balls, live video is recorded from an angle behind home plate to capture every moment for individual use with coaches, scouts, training purposes and can be posted on social media.
A catcher will be paid $15 for the hour so that the session will run smoothly. Rapsodo (pitching & hitting) will also be incorporated to provide an electronic strike zone, exit velocity, launch angle, ball flight; as well as pitch velocity, spin rate and additional metrics.
Scheduling for this program will be flexible and based on field turf availability Monday-Friday 11 am-3 pm.

Advanced BP Sessions Description:
This training will give hitters competitive reps and a realistic live look of velocity and off-speed pitches while tracking arm action and release point, to replace the repetitiveness of using a pitching machine. The format will consist of a 1-hour time slot, 12 hitters max and an instructor will throw from 50-55 feet off the mound.
From the abbreviated distance, players will face fastball ranges anywhere from 70 – 80mph that translates to the equivalent of roughly 80-95+ mph.
Session will have game-like atmosphere with the pitches being throw competitively as if it were an in-game situation.
Use of a hitting rapsodo will be included in this session to provide an electronic strike zone, simulated ball-in-play feel, exit velocity, launch angle and additional metrics.
Live video feed is captured from an angle behind home plate for individual use with coaches, scouts, and for training purposes and can be posted on social media. Participants will be split in two āteamsā to create more competition and situational hitting opportunities.
This program will be available for High School, College and Professional Players. Scheduling of this program for high school athletes will be on Friday afternoons from 3-5 pm. College and professional players scheduling will be flexible based on field turf availability Monday-Friday 11 am-3 pm.
