With the conclusion of the fourth overall session of the Complete Pitcher Program, we would like to thank everyone that has participated and has stayed dedicated to working hard throughout each session. This program has evolved over the past two years, primarily focusing on the health and maintenance of the arm along with improving mobility and core strength to really get the most out of the body and arm when competing on the field.
After gathering data from this past fallâs session we have noticed that our players have not only shown growth in velocity, but also overall strength and performance on the field. The data supports the fact that players that are entering their second, third, and fourth sessions have continued to show steady growth throughout each session.
For example:
- Player A has been in the program since the very beginning entering his fourth session, and his velocity at the beginning of the program was 58mph and is now sitting at 68mph
- Player B just completed his second session, and has seen his velocity jump from 67mph to 73mph
- Player C just finished his first session, and has seen his velocity go from 79mph to 82mph
Powered by Driveline and Rapsodo the Complete Pitcher Program has continued to evolve and has had great support from each athlete that participates. With this coming yearâs winter session, Head Pitching Coordinator Josh Youngman is extremely excited to announce that he will have two minor league pitchers working under him.  Aaron McGarity (Yankees organization) and new addition to the staff Seth Mayberry (Padres organization) are extremely excited to help Josh continue to run a successful program and provide our athletes with the most advanced arm care exercises and technology.
During the winter phase, our number one goal is to prepare the arm and body for the intensity that the middle and high school seasons require along with the spring and summer travel ball season. The winter also allows us as coaches to primarily focus on advancing each pitcherâs weakness and allows time to fix a problem whether it is mechanically or adjusting a grip on a pitch to get the max potential out of our athletes. Sessions are filling up quickly so secure your spot in this winterâs program as soon as possible beginning on December 13th and ending on February 17th!
Winter 2021-22 Complete Pitcher Program Phase
The Winter 2021 session II will run from Dec 13, 2021 â Feb 17, 2022.  TSI has recently invested in a Rapsodo Insight edgertronic camera that will allow instructors to effectively detect how every throw is being released.
This technology will enable instructors to provide athletes with adjustments that need to be made. This investment in technology will continue to provide another aspect to the development of our players in advancing their game!
