On Sunday March 6th, Mid-Atlantic Orioles baseball coaches Chris McKnight and Josh Youngman held the Mid Atlantic Orioles annual recruiting meeting to review the NCAA guidelines and speak to our players about the upcoming tournament season.
McKnight also spoke about camps, which is a huge topic in today’s baseball landscape.
Players have already begun to receive letters inviting them to specific college camps and organizational showcases during the year. The coaches reviewed what is important to look for in these letter / invitations and how to make the right decision on which camp to attend.
McKnight encouraged all parents and players to contact the staff if they are unsure of or need further clarification on the camp invitations.
The meeting ended with a quick review of the NCAA Recruiting calendar and how this affects correspondence from coaches and contacts during the year.
