2019 TSI Winter Youth Baseball Camp

Ages: 7 – 12

Hitting: 9am – 12pm | Cost: Hitting ($50)
Defense & Catching: 1pm – 4pm | Cost: Defense/Catching ($50)
Pitching: 1pm – 4pm | Cost: Pitching ($50)
Full Day Camp: 9am – 4pm | Cost: Full Day ($90)
Location: Tuckahoe Sports Training Center

Overview:

The 6th Annual TSI Winter Baseball Camp will offer a unique learning experience for players who will learn from a baseball staff which consists of past and present professional baseball players & coaches. Each player will receive instruction through one-on-one participation and small group work according to age. Fundamental skills used at each position will be taught using drills and teaching sessions. This will help participants better understand their responsibilities.

• Hitting stations will cover topics such as proper stance, weight transfer, and point-of-contact.
• Pitching and throwing drills will cover areas like balance, delivery mechanics and grip techniques.
• Defensive work will cover topics involving proper fielding position, footwork and glove positioning.
• Catching drills will cover footwork, blocking, transition, throw downs, and bullpens.

2019 Winter Softball Camp

The TSI 2019 Winter Softball Camp will offer a unique learning experience for players who will learn from a softball staff which consists of past professional and collegiate softball players & coaches and current college softball players. Each player will receive instruction through one-on-one participation and small group work according to age. Fundamental skills used at each position will be taught using drills and teaching sessions.

• Hitting stations will cover topics such as proper stance, proper sequencing, point-of-contact, and extension.
• Throwing drills will cover proper throwing mechanics from each position and athletic movements.
• Defensive work will cover topics involving proper fielding position, footwork and glove positioning.
• Of course, we will have some fun games mixed in to keep energy levels high!
