The Importance of Spring Training
As Spring Baseball season approaches, players and fans across the world hear the term “Spring Training”. But what is it? Why is this a thing?
Spring Training is the time where hundreds of baseball players travel to sunny Arizona or Florida to knock off the dust. Players get thousands of offense and defense skill reps. They practice and play games with their organization before they break camp to play their 162+ game schedule.

TSI will be holding it’s 5th Annual TLL Spring Prep program for baseball and softball athletes. Classes start March 2nd and will cover a wide range of skill-building defense, hitting, pitching, and catching drills. In addition, each drill is instructed by professional coaches.
For youth athletes, now is the time to be gearing up for the season. Several months have passed where players haven’t had to chance to step foot on a ball field to practice their game.
Baseball and softball are games that need consistent practice to perform at a competitive level. Specific practice and training are a must before tryouts and the start of the season. Come join us in March so you can play at your best this 2020 season!
