Play a Private Course at Richmond Country Club for a Great Cause!
Last call for Golfers! The Tee Up for Tuckahoe charity golf tournament date of October 21, 2019, is fast approaching! We are still seeking a few more foursomes to join us at the Richmond Country Club.
You will have an opportunity to play this private club which is in great shape and offers every golfer a challenge. Registration includes 2 meals, 18 holes of golf, cart use and range.
Trade-in your baseball/softball attire for golf attire for the day as we raise funds to replace the turf, fencing, and netting in our indoor facility.
Help us raise funds to kick off this campaign which we hope will conclude this summer with upgrades to our facility.
Sponsors have generously provided a great group of prizes including: Foursomes at The Dominion Club, Hunting Hawk Golf Course, Salisbury Country Club, and Willow Oaks Country Club to name a few. Additionally, we have gifts from a variety of restaurants in the RVA area.
Guest of Honor: Hal Baird
Hometown Baseball Hero, Hal Baird will join us for the day. Hal’s credentials include Hall of Fame Coach for East Carolina University (1980-1984), as well as Head Coach of Auburn (1985-2000). He became the most successful head coach in the school’s history while leading his team to the College World Series in 1994 and 1997. His overall coaching record at Auburn is 779-394-1.
Hal played his college career at East Carolina University. As a pro, he played for both the Cleveland Indians and the Kansas City Royals organizations. Hal earned all- Gulf Coast League, All- Florida Instructional League and All-Southern League honors.

We are hoping to have one foursome representing each of our TSI teams. So far the following teams are represented: 8U Titans, 9U Titans, 2021 Orioles, 13U Orioles Mcknight, 14U Mcknight. Come on Softball and Baseball teams not represented. We need you and hope that there is a bit of TSI competition that day!
