The Mid Atlantic Orioles and Tuckahoe Sports are thrilled to announce the addition of cutting-edge equipment and technology for the upcoming 2025-2026 season!
These advancements were made possible thanks to the incredible success of our Lead -Off Event held on February 2, 2025 – our largest annual fundraiser. The funds raised go directly toward training equipment to ensure our players have access to the best and latest tools to elevate their skills.
New Equipment Highlights:
š· Reflexion Board
A game-changing cognitive sports training system, Reflexion strengthens reaction time, peripheral vision, and decision-making using high-tech touchscreen lightboards. Each player will undergo a full cognitive assessment before the fall and spring seasons, making this tool a vital part of their development. The Reflexion system will officially debut in August 2025.
š· V-Flex Trainers (x4)
This innovative system enhances strike zone recognition by training hittersā brains to better distinguish balls from strikes. The result? Improved offensive performance. All teams will benefit from this technology, with coaching staff trained to integrate it into practice sessions.
š· Bat Racs
Each team will now have access to a Bat Racāa key tool for enhancing hand-eye coordination and tracking ability at the plate.
š· DVS Pitching System
For our pitchers, we’ve introduced the DVS systemāa powerful blend of markerless motion capture, injury risk modeling, and expert analysis. Pitchers will be assessed early in the season to identify biomechanical inefficiencies, helping coaches make more informed decisions to boost performance and reduce injuries.
š· PitchLogic (for 9Uā13U Teams)
Younger pitchers will benefit from PitchLogic, which offers real-time feedback on spin axis, arm slot, seam orientation, and moreāproviding instant, personalized insights to help them grow into confident, elite-level throwers.
š· Facility Upgrades
7 new baseball ball holders have been added to the batting cages for smoother practices.
Our Rapsodo Pitching and Hitting units have been updated for even more precise data tracking and feedback.
