For the first time, Tuckahoe Sports (TSI) will hold FAST LANE SOFTBALL CAMP.
This camp is for female athletes who have & want the skill and mindset to play at the next level. This camp will go through adequate stretching, plus fielding and hitting drills with specialized techniques. Fast Lane will be just that, FAST.
Fast action, fast pace & and fast playing, these ladies will be pushed to do things they never thought they could do on a field.
The main objective is to introduce the intense training and conditioning of softball to players who have had Covid breaks, looking to gain skills, or just want to challenge themselves.
Fast Lane 3-Day Camp is for ages 10-14 (turning 11, plays 10u & 12u) and will be held August 9-11 from 1 pm – 4 pm.
Fast Lane 2-Day Camp will be held August 13-14 for ages 6-10 (just turning 10 or plays 8u &10u).
Fast Lane will NOT be for the faint at heart. It is for female athletes who work HARD and play HARDER!
Softball Rookie Camp II Recap
From the time the ladies reached TSI doors to the final scrimmage, these ladies played HARD!! Our rookies learned the fundamentals of softball and played on TSI’s very own softball field.
We worked on staying in our “softball ready” position, staying in front of the ball, and keeping our gloves open and down. The ladies practiced their rookie swing and learned techniques to get better.
Many ladies got the chance to learn firsthand just what it takes to be an ATHLETE!! The sun did not stop the drills and games played hard for camp. Many ladies showed they weren’t rookies at all. Coach Shannon was blown away from the hitting talent shown.
The talent at this camp was enough to make Coach Reese get cupcakes!
All campers were ROOKIE OF THE YEAR!!
