Slapping for Speed and Control  Coach Rasheeda Crews

Slapping is a high-skill offensive weapon for left-handed hitters—but only when it’s executed with precision, speed, and decision-making. In this specialized 4-week module, athletes will learn the mechanics, footwork, and timing behind drag slaps, soft slaps, and hard slaps.

Athletes will train to read defenses, execute in motion, and find consistency in contact zones—all while developing the balance, rhythm, and vision needed to make slapping a game-changing tool.

🔍 Hitters Will Learn To:

  • Time their footwork and load efficiently
  • Identify pitch zones for different slap types
  • Control barrel angle for directional placement
  • Combine speed and intent for base pressure

This module is ideal for athletes who want to expand their offensive toolkit, keep defenses guessing, and become a dynamic force at the plate

Elite pitchers aren’t just made in the circle—they’re built through strength, stability, and injury prevention off the field. In this essential 4-week module, pitchers will focus on developing the physical tools necessary to support healthy, powerful, and repeatable mechanics all season long.

This module combines functional strength training with softball-specific movement patterns, giving athletes a deeper understanding of how their body contributes to velocity, control, and durability. Pitchers will engage in shoulder stability drills, core activation exercises, hip mobility routines, and resistance band work, while also learning proper warm-up and recovery techniques.

Whether you’re coming back from a long season or prepping for spring, this course provides a vital reset for the body and mind of a pitcher.

🔍 Pitchers Will Learn To:

  • Strengthen key throwing muscles and joints
  • Improve stability and balance for better command
  • Enhance hip/core connection for more efficient mechanics
  • Protect the arm through warm-up, cooldown, and recovery strategies

This module is perfect for pitchers who want to build endurance, avoid overuse injuries, and develop the strength and flexibility that fuels performance and confidence on the mound.
