With the conclusion of the sixth overall session of the Complete Pitcher Program , we would like to thank everyone that has participated and have stayed dedicated to working hard throughout each session.
This program has evolved over the past four years, primarily focusing on the health and maintenance of the arm along with improving mobility and core strength to really get the most out of the body and arm when competing on the field.
After gathering data from this past fallâs session we have noticed that our players have not only shown growth in velocity, but overall strength and performance on the field. It has been gathered that players that are entering their second, third and fourth session have continued to show steady growth throughout each session.
- Player A has been in the program since the very beginning entering his sixth session. His velocity at the beginning of the program was 61mph and is now sitting at 71mph.
- Player B just completed his third session, and has seen his velocity jump from 74mph to 79mph
- Player C just finished his second session, and has seen his velocity go from 65mph to 68mph
During the winter phase our number one goal is to prepare the arm and body for the intensity that the middle and high school season require along with the spring and summer travel ball season.
The winter also allows us as coaches to primarily focus on advancing each pitcherâs weakness and allows time to fix a problem whether it is mechanically or adjusting a grip on a pitch to get the max potential out of our athletes.
Sessions are filling up quickly so secure your spot in this winterâs program as soon as possible beginning on December 16th and ending on February 13th!
