- There will be 6 of TSI’s highly trained coaches per session, breaking kids into group/stations of 5 kids per coach
- Key Points of emphasis will be- Hitting-Proper stance/Swing path and finish.
- Fielding- Proper footwork, ground balls, fly balls and throwing angles for different positions.
- Baserunning-How to run the most efficient way, proper form and sliding.
- Pitching- We will discuss and go over basic mechanics and drills that can be done to improve throwing motions while teaching each athlete how to use their body correctly.
- Delivery Value System (DVS)- Each camper will receive a DVS Evaluation created by former Major League Baseball player and current Tuckahoe Little League coach Justin Orenduff. DVS is a baseball performance and injury prevention system that uses biomechanical analysis to evaluate and improve pitching mechanics. It focuses on optimizing a pitcher’s movement patterns to enhance performance and reduce the risk of injury. After receiving your DVS Score, parents are more than welcome to reach out to TSI to go over your numbers and what we can provide to help your child become a stronger more resilient pitcher.
