TSI Training Center Construction Update 9/18/26

First, thanks to everyone for your patience and support as we navigate this new addition to our facility. We have made good progress, and the latest work has really begun to tie the project together. Hope you have been following the weekly updates on our social media and website.

1st Floor Progress includes:

• New turf laid in the 6 cages – still needs final touch up
• Additional space designated for Strength & Conditioning Area
• New Lighting installed
• Required Fire Sprinklers added in cages & steel protection installed
• New cabling being added to move nets away from fence and allow it to be pulled tighter
• Indoor Field Netting holes have all been repaired
• Electrical added for new configuration

2nd Floor Progress includes:

• 7 new retractable batting cage nets are hung
• Fans have been added
• New Lighting installed
• Electrical outlets added for machines

Open Items:

• Batting cage netting on first floor – In progress
• 2nd floor turf install – In progress
• Final Fire Sprinkler upgrades are pending
• The stair installation on either side of the 2nd floor is scheduled to begin 9/29
• Turf will be added to weight room area and new configuration
• Turf in new Complete Pitching Lab (formerly TPA)
• Final facility cleaning
• Final inspection and receipt of Certificate of Occupancy from County

We are planning a Grand Re-Opening Celebration date in early October and invite you to bring family and friends as we get our first glimpse of the new addition! Stay tuned as we have a lot to celebrate!!

The 2nd floor batting cages nets are hung; This will provide 7 new retractable cages. New fans and lights have also been added. The last two items related to the 2nd floor will be laying the turf early next week and welding in the stairs on both ends which should occur between 9/27 – 10/6. It will take several days for each set of stairs.

On the first floor, new cables are being run to reduce the sag in the netting. We had originally thought we would get the first-floor cages back this week but fire sprinkler modifications slowed down our progress. We also add some additional support cable as we want to keep the nets off of the fencing to reduce balls bouncing back.
