POOL & BRACKET PLAY
A. Pool play will last five (5) innings or have a 55 – minute time limit whichever occurs first. DROP DEAD AT 55 MINUTES, the score is what it is –no reverting back.
B. Games MAY NOT end in a tie. If there is a tie, then a coin flip by the Umpire will determine higher seed (See E).
C. You may bat your entire roster, but you must end the game with the same number of batters in your lineup as you started with. In the event of an injury and you have no substitutes, you will be awarded an out every time that person is supposed to bat.
D. Only 8 defensive players may be on the field at a time. (2 outfielders, pitcher, catcher, 1st Baseman, 2nd Baseman, Shortstop, and 3rd Baseman)
E. There will be two coin flips at the beginning of the game. 1) Home Team determined by coin flip by the Umpire prior to the start of the game. 2) Coin flip will determine higher seed if game ends in a tie. Pitcher is only allowed two warm up pitches in between innings with no throw down to second from catcher. Pinch runners for catcher and pitcher must be last out or a substitute not in the batting order. (THIS IS TO HAVE CATCHER & PITCHER READY TO GO WHEN INNING IS COMPLETE).
F. Balls may be played off the top net. Balls that hit the top netting are considered live, if caught it will be considered an out. Balls that hit off a net in foul territory is considered dead. Balls that hit off the outfield netting will be live but will not be considered an out if caught in the air after hitting the netting. No home runs.

C. Umpires will keep time – The Official score keeper will record the game time in the official book
